(Please read and observe these instructions carefully for a longer lasting
life of your umbrella)
Some of the most frequently asked questions about fabrics concern care
and cleaning. The good news is that the fabric is designed to be easy to
maintain. By following a few simple cares and cleaning steps, the
fabric will maintain its good looks for many years.
Cleaning Frequency : No set timetable exists for
when fabric should be cleaned, and the local environment has a great deal to
do with determining cleaning frequency. Cleaning is required less frequently
in a dry environment than in a humid one with heavy foliage. In most
environments, a thorough cleaning will be needed every two to three years.
Simple Maintenance : One of the best ways to keep
the canvas looking good and to delay the need for deep cleanings is to hose
fabrics off on a monthly basis with clear water. This practice will help
prevent dirt from becoming deeply imbedded in the fabric and eliminate the
need for more frequent vigorous cleanings.
Deep Cleaning : When it's time for a thorough
cleaning, it is important to observe the following:
- Always use a mild soap i.e. Ivory Snow, Dreft or Woolite. Never
detergent.
- Water should be cold to lukewarm. Never more than 100 degrees.
- Air dry only. Never apply heat to the fabrics.
If you are cleaning the fabric while still on the umbrella, follow these
simple steps:
- Brush off loose dirt.
- Hose down.
- Prepare a cleaning mixture of water and mild soap (no detergents).
- Use a soft bristle brush to clean.
- Allow soap to soak in.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Air dry.
Stubborn Stains: If stubborn stains persist, you can use a diluted
chlorine bleach/soap mixture for spot cleaning of mildew, roof run-off or
other similar stains. Prepare a special cleaning mixture:
- Four ounces (half cup) of chlorine bleach.
- Two ounces (one-fourth cup) of mild soap.
- One gallon of water.
- Clean with soft bristle brush.
- Allow mixture to soak for up to 20 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Air dry.
- Repeat if necessary.
Re-treating the Fabric : As part of the finishing
process, the fabrics are treated with a fluorocarbon finish, which enhances
water repellency. This finish is designed to last for several years, but
must be replenished after a thorough cleaning. Based on test results, we
recommend 303 High Tech Fabric Guard™ as the preferred re-treatment product
for these fabrics. Fabrics should be retreated after thorough cleaning or
after five years of use.

Shipping :
We have designed a sturdy umbrella for extended life and our solid Frame
is much stronger than those frames which are in two pieces and slide
together. It's more difficult for us to ship it; however, we will not
sacrifice the strength of our frame as some other companies do. We
guarantees that we will ship via the best available mode and routing. We
take care in our choice of freight carriers to pick shipping partners who
have a good track record with delivery of large packages to commercial and
residential address alike. We ship FOB Orlando Florida.
We make a strong effort to negotiate the best rates and service for our
clients - please note that the construction of our sturdy umbrellas includes
a single-piece pole and means that the umbrella, when fully assembled and
packed, is shipped in a carton approx 116 inches long and 10 inches square
and weighs over 75 lbs. If you select a free-standing base, that carton can
weigh from 85 lbs up to nearly 150 lbs. Umbrellas are shipped in 2 cartons -
the base in one carton, the completely assembled umbrella in the other
carton.
Loss or Damage: The risk for loss for the goods
passes to the Buyer at the time goods are delivered to the carrier. Your
umbrella is carefully packed and thoroughly inspected before leaving our
warehouse. Responsibility for its safe delivery was assumed by the carrier
upon acceptance of the shipment. Customer must file a claim for loss or
damage sustained in transit upon the carrier as follows:
(a) External evidence of loss or damage must be noted on the freight
bill and signed by the carrier's agent. Failure to adequately describe
such external evidence of loss or damage may result in the carrier
refusing to honor a damage claim. The form required to file such a claim
will be supplied by the carrier.
(b) Concealed loss or damage means loss of damage that is not seen until
the umbrella has been unpacked. It is possible that the contents are
damaged in transit due to rough handling even though the carton may not
show external damage. If you discover damage upon unpacking the umbrella,
make a written request for inspection by the carrier's agent within 15
days of the delivery date. Then file a formal claim with the carrier,
since the damage is their responsibility.
All cartons and packing materials must be saved. We will render all
possible assistance in settling claims. No deductions from payment will be
allowed for freight damages or losses.

Greencorner Limited Warranty
Greencorner umbrellas are constructed of the finest materials and are
rigorously tested for superior performance. We offer the following
warranties, subject to terms and conditions, inclusions and exclusions
listed below.
Hardwood Frame : 2 year warranty
Fabric : 5-year manufacturers limited warranty on
marine-grade fabric.
The color fastness is guaranteed to remain within the standards set under
normal conditions of exposure and atmospheric chemical pollution. THERE ARE
NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON
THE FACE OF THIS AGREEMENT.
Warranty Policy : THE WARRANTY, IF APPLICABLE, IS
LIMITED TO THE REPLACEMENT OF PARTS AND FABRIC FREE OF CHARGE.
1) Greencorner will replace any item that is received by the customer
and found to be defective due to workmanship or materials. This
replacement upon receipt does not cover damage that is caused by the
shipping carrier. We have found that in many cases the defect is not a
warranty issue but the result of shipping damage. Carefully inspect all
shipments before accepting goods from the carrier. If you have a shipping
damage, you must file a damage claim with the carrier. Greencorner will
attempt to assist you with any freight claim you may have. Please contact
our customer service department for assistance. If you return an item to
Greencorner and the returned item is damaged due to shipping or otherwise
found to be not covered under the warranty, all costs of repair and
shipping will be the responsibility of the customer
2) Failure to follow the given assembly, maintenance and care instructions
may void your product warranty.
3) The warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect, improper
assembly, improper operation, inappropriate use of the product, or use of
any unauthorized attachments or lack of reasonable maintenance.
4) The warranty does not apply if damage is a result of improper mounting
of the umbrella or inadequate base weight restraint for weather
conditions. Damage to the umbrella caused by contact with a foreign
object, including the ground also voids the listed warranties.
5) The warranty does not apply to damages to the product caused by acts of
nature, including but not limited to hurricanes, gales, high winds,
tornadoes, sleet, hail, heavy rain, floods, monsoons, fire, and vandalism
or accumulated weight on the product caused by water or other material (s).
6) If warrantable damage occurs to the hardwood pole, hubs, ribs or metal
fasteners, Greencorner will replace or repair said items at its
discretion.
7) Warranty claimant is responsible for all shipping and freight charges
incurred by claimant or Greencorner as a result of a warranty claim.
8) Claims must be submitted with original proof of purchase. Warranties
outlined above may not be assigned and are available only for the original
purchaser of the Greencorner umbrella.
9) If the product is within the warranty period and found to be defective,
Greencorner reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to repair, replace
or redesign any product that is returned as a result of a warranty claim.
If the item was determined to be not under warranty for any reason, the
customer agrees to pay for the cost of repair or replacement. All
decisions of Greencorner are final.
10) In no event shall Greencorner be responsible for any indirect,
incidental or consequential damages arising from the sale or use of these
products. This applies both during and after the terms of any warranty
that may apply.
11) This warranty and all other terms and conditions are to be interpreted
under the laws of the State of Florida in the United States of America.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other
legal rights which vary from state to state.

Return Policy :
All returns must be made within 30 days of receipt of product. No returns
will be accepted or refunds issued without a prior return authorization
number issued by our customer service department. For this reason contact us
in writing via mail, email or fax to receive written authorization. Please
include the following information when submitting your request to insure
quick response: item number, description, reason for return, date of
shipment, Greencorner reference number, your name, contact information,
billing address.
After we issue the authorization to return, all packages must be shipped
prepaid to the address provided and clearly marked with the return
authorization number. Greencorner shall not be responsible for items being
returned that are lost or damaged in transit. We suggest you use a
"traceable carrier" that can provide you with "proof of delivery".
When returning an item for any reason, item MUST be packaged in the
original carton. Unless otherwise specified items must be 100% complete.
Refunds, if approved, will be given for the purchase price less the
original shipping and handling charge. A restocking charge may apply if the
item has been scratched or damaged and is no longer salable as "new".
Refunds are issued within 15 Days of our inspection and approval of
returned items.
Refund are not made on products which are special ordered or imprinted on
